We had a quiet New Year, but a happy one. This last year was great, and we are looking forward to this upcoming year. The baby will be due soon so that will bring a lot of change. My older brother, Jake, got a job back in Boise so his family will be back here soon. My younger brother, Matt, will try to get into a medical program this fall and will most likely be back in Boise too. Brian's birthday is today so we might go to look at REI and I won't complain. We went to Boise State vs. BYU basketball just before the new year. Brian and Landon looked great in their matching shirts, but it didn't help the Cougars win. Brian was disappointed. I didn't mind that the Broncos won. 
Corinne insisted on staying up until midnight for the New Year. We set off some firecrackers at 10 p.m. so we wouldn't disturb the peace at midnight. We drank some apple cider and rang in the New Year playing games and watching the ball drop. Brian and I feel old because we would have rather gone to bed early. Oh well! We hope you all had a Happy New Year and that you are safe and happy.
